Gesso

Today I decided to try out a new gesso formula. This one uses: white acrylic paint, glue, plaster of Paris, honey and water.

One of my friends from Cal State Long Beach, Jessica Lah, recently finished an ambitious project. She managed to combine bicycling, plein aire painting and camping cross country to publish a book about her adventures. Check it. jessicalah.com

This will be at the soccer show in Los Angeles during the world cup on June 6th. Proceeds will be donated to HOLA Heart Of Los Angeles, an after school program in the rampart district that helps underpriviliged youth.

For the longest time I was concerned with finding a voice not realizing that what I was really after was a new language.
